Happy Fall!

I have to admit, I have been a little MIA when it comes to the blog. Writing takes a back seat to the busy life we are leading.  It has been a nice time of the year. The fall has been absolutely beautiful and we have had some great weather, allowing us to do some really great things. So here you go, the picts of our busy lives.
I watched my neighbor's son while she was in the hospital having a baby. I took the kids to the park to feed the ducks and geese. They came right up to the kids and tried to eat out of their hands.

Pretty soon, the kids didn't like that and would throw the bread and run the other way. It was funny to watch the ducks and geese chase after them.

We went camping. It was a beautiful weekend. I love to see the colors of the fall, the greens turning to yellow and reds. The boys fished, but were a little disappointed that they didn't catch anything!

My beautiful daughters
and handsome son.

Our school district has a harvest break. It allows kids to go work for the farmers for a week and everyone gets out of school. None of my kids work the break so we went to Utah with Spalding. He had some meetings in SLC. We went to watch a Jazz pre-season game against the Blazers.  We went with Crystal (it was her birthday!) and Dan, and Kelly and Casey.  Birthday dinner was at the Macaroni Grill. Yummy!
Lots of fun! Sorry fellow Oregonians, I am not a Blazer fan. Go JAZZ! Here are two of my favorite players: Millsap and Williams.

Our other Harvest Break activity was starting  -N-'s Eagle Scout project, but that will be a future post of its own. He just finished his project yesterday! Yeah! Here is a picture of the girls playing in the leaves while we were working on his project. They had a blast! There is something about the fall leaves, kids just can't stay out of them, and raking them up doesn't seem like work since you get to play in them.
Happy Fall everyone! I know that winter is just around the corner. I hope it holds off a little longer.

Looks wonderful. We have soooome fall colors here, but the weather has been hot mostly, till today, here in Fresno. I was soooo happy to be able to put on a sweatshirt, although I had to be barefoot to tolerate it!
